series: The Most Interesting Man In The World
Starts April 17, 2011
We tend to gravitate towards iconic people – people who ooze charisma from their pores. Some of us want to be that person!
Perhaps no man, in all of history, has had more of an impact, both directly and indirectly, from supporters and detractors, as Jesus Christ. This has been true ever since he walked the earth some 2,000 years ago.
People flocked to him, followed him, crowded him. People would press in to hear, to be touched by him – even just to touch the hem of his robe. During one particular speaking event, people pressed in so much that he climbed into a boat and drifted out to sea enough to get some elbow room.
Jesus is the most interesting man in the world.
During this Easter series, we’ll take a look at the God-man – his acts and his mission.
